On Feb. 16, Red Oak ISD will host a student enrichment day. So what exactly is a student enrichment day? See the FAQ below:

Q: What is the student enrichment day?

A: Think of this day as academic camps. Students can participate in small--group and one-on-one tutorials, academic enrichment and other classes

Q: Is my student required to attend?

A: No. The enrichment day is optional, and there is no penalty for not attending.

Q: What are the hours?

A: All campuses will run according to their regular hours.

Q: How do students sign up? What are the offerings?

A: You will receive more information regarding sign-up details from your child’s campus, but please RSVP.

Q: Will lunch be available in the cafeteria?

A: Yes. We will serve lunch. We will need a head count, so please sign up for lunch.

Q: Will bus transportation will be provided to students attending Enrichment Day?

A: Yes, all buses will run on their regular schedules. Students who are not riding the bus must be picked up no later than 20 minutes after dismissal. If needed, parents may pick students up early.

Q: Will childcare be provided to the students who usually attend After the Bell?

A: No, After the Bell will be closed on this day.

Q: Can my child wear jeans?

A: Yes. Feb. 16 will be a jean day for both students and staff. As usual, please wear a maroon and white spirit shirt.
